What I actually do

Diagnose what’s wrong, then tell you how to fix it.

You tell me what’s going on. I ask a lot of questions, you answer them, and I tell you how to fix it. If I can’t tell from the phone, from pictures or from video — or if it’s complicated and nobody knows the cause — I come to you, walk the rooms and find the exact cause. Environment, feed, genetics, bugs, mold, humidity, temperature, airflow, workflow, staff. Whatever it is, I find it and give you a precise plan to correct it.

If the facility design itself is the problem, that is another thing I am fast at — naming the exact cause and the fix, which is usually a change of equipment, placement, direction, height or speed, filters, or cleaning.


Hop latent viroid

If your best cut stopped being your best cut, you may not have a genetics problem. You may have a disease or a virus problem.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and with hop latent viroid prevention is the whole game. A real IPM program, and proper cleaning and handling of every tool and every device that touches a mother plant or a clone. First and most important: don’t bring it in in the first place. Learn how to send plants in for testing and you avoid a serious long-term problem before it starts.

It may not kill the plant, but it will make them smaller, looser, less aromatic, less frosty, and worse in a dozen other ways. And it moves through a mother room on scissors and hands long before anyone sees a symptom. Most operations are not testing for it, and the ones that are often don’t know what to do with a positive.

I have dealt with HLVd directly and been affected by it directly. I can tell you what it looks like early, how to sample and test mother stock, how to stop cross-contaminating between rooms, and how to decide honestly between test-and-remove and starting over — including what each one really costs you in time and in lost cycles.

Korean Natural Farming

Homemade ferments produced organically by us, tested in real commercial rooms, proven time after time. I build the input program and train your crew to make it and to use it.

No-till, beds and containers

No-till beds and containers, cover cropping, and soil biology that holds up over multiple indoor runs. Composting, extracts and teas, and soil testing, analysis and re-amending.

Conventional synthetics

Equally fluent in synthetic production. I run it right now in some rooms, and I can help you get more flavour and more yield out of your crop.
